Ok..so figured I'd write SOMETHING to make this blog look active. Ava's butterfly bandages are starting to come off. She is kind of upset about it and is angry that she has lost some stickers. Pretty funny. I think she liked the attention she get's with them. Believe it not, she eats that stuff up. Last week we had 'evaluation' day at swimming lessons. They gave Ava the nod to move to Tots 3 next time (she's in Tots 2 right now), which is ahead of schedule for her age, but she is plenty comfortable with everything they've done so far in tots 2. Pretty cool, right?
Since I haven't blogged about it, Tenielle's party was a great time. Good turnout and most people stayed out til bar close, which was a lot of fun, and not quite expected anymore since we are all getting old and boring.
Heading to Crosslake this weekend. Sposed to be cold to start out, so not sure how fishing will be. Beer should be cold though.
Also, there is going to be a new show on the Food Network (supposedly) called "Have fork...will travel". It's hosted by Zane Lamprey, who also hosts one of my favorite shows "Three Sheets" on the MOJO network. Sunday, at 2:30 I believe. I think they've aired a couple episodes in the past, but i have yet to see any.
Ok, I have to get back to work. Bye.

Work is overrated!
Way to go Ava!!! Tots 2, that is great. I remember those days.
So Steve, are you the one that goes in the water each time with her? Don't you scare the little kids away with your pasty white self? Don’t the florescent lights reflecting off your body blind the poor children?
So I was eating lunch yesterday and on sports center they had that stupid congressional hearing about the Clemens HGH thing, and I got more and more angry as it went on. Why are they doing this? It’s obvious that neither is going to admit they are lying so nothing will be accomplished. What is the point? Even if they try and pursue perjury charges it is one man’s word vs. another (actually now it looks like one vs. 3 others, but who is counting). So good luck with that one. I am interested to hear what you two think (Jim and Steve, since I know that no one else reads this thing!).
Here is my question on Steve’s blog:
1) Do you think Clemens should be banned from baseball and the hall because of this?
2) Do you think HGH in baseball is really that bad?
3) Do you really care?
Oh, and what the heck is “misremembered”. I can’t believe that is actually a word.
She's in tots 2 already...and will start 3 in april. Duh.
I do go in the water. And I am comfortable with my pigment. Are you a racist? We can't all be mexicans.
I have zero cares about athlete's using steroids. Professional sports are for entertainment purposes only (unless you are a pro athlete...then it's for the $). So if they entertain, I could care less how/why. So No, he shouldn't be banned, and no, HGH is actually good....and I honestly have no concerns about it. And I'm bored talking about it already.
Tots 3, that is great. I remember those days.
Just last year for you, wasn't it? I can't say I've ever seen you swim. Can you?
Way to go Ava. Steve, did you test out of Tots 1 yet? Good luck there.
Should Clemens be banned? I think he should have the same fate that Bonds gets. I think neither should get in to the HOF. The fact that Bonds and him and others deny it, or say they did not know what it was is BS. These guys are all highly tuned machines...they know exactly what they are taking.
HGH is bad. Sort of undermines the game a bit. I mean, it helps them recover that much faster from injury or fatigue. So when clean players are on the downward spiral toward the end of a year, these guys are still going strong.
And really, I don't care all that much, and really am annoyed hearing so much about it.
