GO TINS!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers out there! Mom's are the best!

Yesterday, we took Ava to the Twins game, the last of a 4 game home series against Boston (Justin, they have a team in Boston called the Red Sox...and yes, they are my 2nd favorite team in baseball...so deal with it).

Before the game out on the plaza, she got to jump on the T.C. Belly Jumper! Somehow our timing worked out that she had the entire thing to herself! Pretty cool!

Our tickets were on the first baseline, but we didn't have one for Ava, so sitting on our laps, she got a little squirmy after 2 innings. We moved to section 139 right by the 3rd baseline foul post in the outfield. I actually like that area, plus it was almost empty, so we had the entire row to ourselves, as well as the ones in front and back of us.

Ava was much more comfortable there, and it turned out to be a great move! She got to meet T.C. Bear! Right after this picture, she gave him a little peck on the nose. Pretty dang cute!

She was also given a real baseball! Which she had T.C. autograph! She was pretty excited!

She was quite the cheerleader...and coined her own cheer "Go Tins!!!" I may be biased, but I'm pretty sure that her team spirit was the main contributing factor to their big win last night.

She had a great time, but a 2 1/2 year old on a Monday night can only handle so much (and as responsible parents, we tried to keep her close to her normal bedtime), so we headed out during the 6th inning and we were back home in time to catch the last inning and a half on TV.

Yeah rah rah Ava! You are the best cheerleader the Twins could ever have (and the cutest, too!)

I can't believe you left in the 6th inning. Nice fan you are Steve. I am a much bigger fan than you are.

Can I ask you something? So I never really understood the whole "second team" thing. I have one team that I cheer for, the Minnesota Twins. I don't have time to be a fan of another team. And if I don't have time then you definately don't have time. In addition, how can you like a team like Boston? They are so commercialized. As a Twins fan, I only really respect the teams that build their franchise from the bottom up, with young talent rather than flexing their spending muscles on All-Stars. Actually if I had to rank the 30 mlb teams, I would say the Red Sox are in the bottom 5. The last two being the Yankees and the White Sox.

So good luck with your first and second teams, I will stick with my one. :)Huggs and Kisses!

p.s when are you heading up north? Friday/Saturday?

We left in the 6th...deal with it.

Does it really take time to be a fan? I am a Twins fan. Always will be. However, if the Twins left MN (not gonna happen), then I would probably be a Red Sox fan next. They are fun to watch, and I really enjoy their stadium, and the town itself. I would agree that the Yankees and White Sox are at the bottom of my list to support. If I was to choose, I'd support the Cubs over the White Sox...see how this works? If Boston is playing someone other than the Twins, I'd like to see Boston win...although I wouldn't really care if they didn't..unlike the Twins. One team over the other, then the next...then the next. So Twins are at the top. And by the process of elimination, Boston would be my 2nd choice if for whatever reason I didn't have the option to be a Twins fan...like if a Sunami hit Mpls and wiped them out. Are you following me? Pretty basic concepts here...so I hope you can keep up. If not, then I'll have Ava explain it to you next time she see's you.

Not sure on the up north plans. I doubt T&A are coming up since it won't be a good weekend for Ava up there with the destruction going on, etc. So I was going to talk to Darrell today and figure it out. I might try riding up with them whenever they head up...or at least following them up there. Yourself? Is Cristin coming? Or just you?

WHAT ABOUT SOME NEW PICTURES? SOMETHING TO KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS INTERESTED IN YOUR PRODUCT!

I hate your attitute toward this blog too. How about you write about what we want......computer jokes.

Fine, if you aren't going to do any jokes, I will:

*Once a programmer drowned in the sea. Many Marines where at that time on the beach, but the programmer was shouting "F1 F1" and nobody understood it.

I thought you would like that one.

Please, no computer jokes. How about something actually funny??? This blog is dead.

That joke isn't even funny. A real programmer would never use F1. They don't need help. They just figure it out. Duh.
