So Tenielle and I had a weekend away...just the two of us...to Bayfield, Wisconsin. Weather was great, and we had a nice relaxing time. Ate some great food, hit some apple orchards, played some cribbage...sat and did nothing. Colors were great, but not quite at peak. And we had a nice, cozy cabin right off of the lake. Ava spent the weekend with G&G Shallman, and I think they all had a great time. We missed her of course, but it was nice to have our own schedule for a day or two.
Halloween is on it's way, and i better start thinking of a good costume. Please comment with any good suggestions (i'm sure all of you clowns that read this will take it seriously and give good suggestions, right?)
The twins play game 2 against the A's today...i'm gonna take a half day and go...hopefully. Sucks for those of you stuck at work NOT watching it. Yay for me!
Ava has tooth #3 coming through...one of the side top ones. She had her 9 month appt. on monday and the results are:
Weight : 17 lbs. 8 oz. (25th Percentile)
Height : 28 3/4" (80th Percentile)
Head : 16 3/4" (5th Percentile)
So still a tiny head compared to average baby these days. But that's what we love about her. Big heads are dumb.
I better work so i can get out of here and hit the game today...so gimme some suggestions on costumes.

Slutty Nurse is about right for you Steve. Although since college you have really let yourself go and probably don't have the body to pull it off anymore.
Like I said in my blog...see if you can't find something more offensive than you wore last year. I am sure you can do it. Something Amish perhaps?
Bear f'er...get your facts straight. I've been watching the twins all season, since game 1 yo. I could confidently say I watched WAY more games this year than you did. Ask my wife...she won't lie for me. She complains about it all the time. So eat it...and I said it.
My costume last year was offensive? Ooops..i didn't mean it to be. I'll have to be careful this year to be sure not to offend anyone...wouldn't want that.

Justin - Yes, Steve has watched every game this year.... And, yes, that means he sits on the couch and does nothing! Ready for the season to be over?? Yes... Excited that it's now football season??? Not in any way...

On the football note though, I have yet to watch more than 5 minutes of any Vikings game this year. No suprise really. Anyone who plays Fantasy Football with me knows how little i really care or pay attention. I don't need to memorize the sports page every day so i can feel 'cool' by repeating the crap i just read like it's my own thoughts or projections. Don't get me wrong, i'll watch a game. Just could care less if i don't see one.

that's a really dumb idea. You SHOULD go as that...that way i can laugh at you all night for having the lamest costume.
